Fun Runners will be hosting larger invitational meets in 2025 and we are excited to host both TEAMS and also INDIVIDUALS (with or without team affiliations) at our meets. Our meets will be run efficiently (1-2 hours), where kids will get timed results that will be posted, and will be good experiences for your kids.

Fun Runners Friday 400 FESTIVAL
Candlewood MS, Dix Hills, Friday 3/28 at 6pm
This meet is a celebration of the 400m Distance. It’s simple - one lap on the track, all out. This is for kids PK - 8th grade. We want every kid to know their time for the 400m dash and run against their peers. All results will be recorded on our website. This meet will last until 7:15pm.
Kids will warm up, do drills, get assigned a racing bib, and put into heats against their peers. Younger kids will run in up to 12 in a heat, older kids 6th grade and up will get their own lane.
We will have 4×400m relays for clubs and teams that join us.
We will have medals for the top 3 in every age group - not every heat. Ribbons for all kids PK - 2nd grade. Please communicate to those older children that not everyone will receive a medal.

1st Annual SPRING Fun Runners XC/TRACK CARNIVAL
Candlewood MS, Dix Hills, Sunday 4/27 at 12pm

Last fall we had over 500 kids participating at our first ever XC/Track Carnival. We had a great day and got results and awards for over 500 kids in a little more than 2 hours.

CYO, PAL, Private Club Teams should contact us at lifunrunners@gmail.com for team pricing. We will close out dates to teams once we have a solid number. Teams will be announced here once they commit to attending this meet.

Individuals who are already running for a team and are available to race at any of our Invitationals may certainly register and your team name will show up in the results. Individuals who are not running for a team, but want to try a track meet experience, can sign up as well as Unattached. Kids can race in two events- either two track or one cross country + 200m dash. Email with any questions.

Spring 2025 Fun Runners Spring Championship
Candlewood MS, Dix Hills, Thursday 5/22 at 6pm
This is an internal Fun Runners meet and we are not opening up to other teams.
Individual kids who want to race at this meet are more than welcome to register, whether they are competing for other teams or not. Fun Runners who are signed up for either Spring Youth Track or Spring Track Tots are already registered for this meet and do not need to sign up for this event.

Kids who are on the Fun Runners Competition Team will compete at these meets for no extra charge. Sign up for the Competition Team if interested there.

Track Tots for ages 2-4 should sign up on the Track Tots registration portal.
